Event Production Intern

Nxt Museum is the first museum in the Netherlands dedicated to New Media Art. We are passionate about art, technology, science and innovation and are on a mission to push the boundaries of what a museum can be.

This is your opportunity to grow with Nxt Museum! Nxt is looking for an intern to join the museum’s Production Team, where you will be working closely with the Museum Producers.

Providing support on the production of private event hires, helping to produce workshops for schools and companies, and maintaining Nxt Museum’s current exhibition are among the tasks that you will be involved with. Under the guidance of the Nxt Museum staff, you will learn how to produce an event from request to execution, and work with teams across the company to do so; from Sales & Partnerships to Marketing and Arts & Culture.

What will you get up to?

To help you develop a wide set of skills, this internship includes a variety of tasks:

• Assisting with organising events and other activities, such as workshops and performances;

• Responding to incoming event requests and assisting in event sales;

• Supporting the Producers with creating budgets, briefing documents and call sheets;

• Closely working together with museum partners and staff members;

• Other tasks related to the museum’s daily operations, such as working with our experience team, building maintenance, and technical support.

• You're fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking). Dutch is a plus, but not essential.
